VA run by trio at Mar-A-Lago

Common Defense

Ron —
Back in August, we told you about a bombshell report that revealed a trio of corrupt millionaires living in Mar-A-Lago were “secretly shaping the Trump administration’s veterans policies.”1
They never served in the military, had no experience in healthcare or veterans issues, and were never vetted by Congress or the public. Yet now they wield nearly unlimited power over the largest health care system in the country. And it’s going disastrously for working families and veterans like us.
Hundreds of thousands of vets haven’t received benefits for months.2 While my fellow service members go hungry or are forced to live on the streets, these three unqualified, self-serving millionaires are enriching themselves through corrupt deals at our expense.

My friends and I were sent to fight in the seemingly endless wars in the Middle East. In the end, our sacrifices made a few corrupt CEOs, Wall Street executives, and defense contractor stockholders VERY rich. And the whole thing wasted trillions of dollars that could have been spent here in the U.S. The least that we should be doing as a country is ensuring that veterans are taken care of when they get home.
But unsurprisingly, Trump has done what he always does: he sold out veterans and working families at the behest of his cronies in Mar-A-Lago, and gave them free rein to pillage and loot our health care and rig our economy even more than they already have.
Enough is enough. Sign your name today and demand that Congress investigates this corruption at once.
Thank you for being a part of this movement, and for always having the backs of working families, veterans, and our most vulnerable communities. We truly couldn’t do any of this work without you.
In solidarity,
Perry O'Brien
U.S. Army and Afghanistan War veteran
